Foyle Chipping Company is an established family owned partnership that specialises in prepared potatoes, chips and vegetables. Originally set up in 1983 as a supplier of fresh cut chips to the local chips shops in Derry City, Foyle Chipping Company has continually expanded its range over the years to include frozen goods, fresh poultry products and fresh fruit and vegetables.
Foyle Chipping Company operates 7 days a week – production and delivery, ensuring that all products delivered to the chef are freshly prepared and top quality. We have valuedexperience and first hand knowledge of the preparing and cooking of chips. As such we have an unique understanding of the importance of supplying a chip that is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and a potato that boils and mashes well without being too soft or too hard.
All products are fully traceable and produced to the strictest hygiene practices. Foyle Chipping Company has a stringent HACCP system in place with rigorous daily cleaning inspections. We have a food technologist on site who overseas the HACCP checklist and carries out regular trace tests of all procedures and their environment. Foyle chipping company is fully compliant as regards Health & Safety inspections & regulations, with regular audits carried out throughout the plant and all paperwork kept updated.
